National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
John McLaughlin is a Program Manager with Office of Education of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). He serves as a Program Officer for the Environmental Literacy Grants Program as well as working to support implementation of citizen science within NOAA. He previously worked for the GLOBE Program, which engages K-12 students around the world in environmental study. He admits citizen science helped turn him into a weather geek who can't stop counting contrails in the sky and gets excited to read and report data from his rain gauge each morning.
