Heather Brubach

Heather Brubach is the School Experiences Coordinator for the National Museum of Natural History. She leads the development, assessment and refinement of school programs facilitated and implemented at the museum. She also works to establish and sustain partnerships with teachers, administrators and school serving organizations to collaborate on programming and resources meeting the needs of student and teacher audiences. Before coming to NMNH in 2015, Heather worked as Educator for NASA Forum Programs at the Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum in Chicago, IL. Her projects there included: school partnership programs, teacher professional development, program and curriculum development, and working with NASA Education and Public Outreach. Most recently, she worked as Outreach Educator for the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, partnering with teachers to implement social justice curriculum with students in grades 4-8. Heather received an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently certified to teach grades K-6.
