Jennifer Collins is part of the Ocean Education team at the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), which means she is involved in a range of activities and programs that cross different marine fields.  Before joining NMNH, she worked for the International Ocean Discovery Program, where one of her favorite responsibilities was bringing teachers out to sea onboard the JOIDES Resolution for immersive professional development programs. Jennifer has also taught middle school and high school math and science, and worked as an educator at the UC Berkeley Museum of Paleontology. She holds a Masters Degree in Teaching and a BS in Zoology from UC Davis.
